All the three models will be available in three colors for now- Black, silver and gold. Options for colors may be increased later on. After a long wait, Apple will introduce OLED curved display in iPhone 8. iPhone 7s and iPhone 7s Plus will support LED display which was previously featured in all other iPhones. All of them will support wireless charging technology and for this the aluminium back cover is going to be replaced by all-glass. Kuo has always been so accurate about his predictions for Apple products. Kuo had indicated that all the three iPhones will support wireless charging which has started to prove right.
- As the phones will get heated up due to the wireless charging, a graphite layer will be added for protection beneath the 3-D touch sensor.
- The addition of graphite will add to the high cost of the gadgets.
- Charging speed is going to be improved but for this, users will have to buy a separate USB-C adapter.
- Earlier Kuo said that there will be an integrated USB-C IC in the lightning port but now he suggests that there will be an additional accessory for the same.
- This is being done because signals can be received through an all-glass design.
